Eight of us came to savour the delights of Marrakesh. We were made extremely welcome as soon as we arrived at Riad Elizabeth. They had arranged our taxi and Elizabeth and John are great hosts.
Kamal met us early next day and introduced us to the souks and also arranged a Hammam. They told me it was good for me! Watch out for the cold bucket of water. Dave said he wanted to go back for the water! I’ve never seen them so clean. We will return to buy the tagines we missed!

A huge thank you to you both for your ‘more than hospitality’ during our hols.
The food was scrummy (I’m going to have to find a recipe for the soup) and the advice on everything from trips to hammams to places to eat and drink made our stay perfect.

Our stay at Riad Elizabeth has been absolutely wonderful. John and Elizabeth have been extremely warm, genuine, and accommodating. From the personal welcome with mint tea and homemade pastries to the helpful advice and guidance, they are the perfect hosts for anyone’s stay here in Marrakech.
In addition to their wonderful personalities, the riad itself is beautiful. It really has been the perfect relaxing place to come back to after a busy day in the medina. The aesthetic of the riad is a perfect balance of simple modern with charming homages to traditional Moroccan design sprinkled throughout. It’s peaceful and stylish while maintaining the exotic feel that travellers come here for. It’s honestly one of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed.
So thank you so much for everything! Me and my brother are very happy to have stayed here. It has been the perfect place for our trip. Best wishes and we hope you continue to enjoy the riad and your life here in such a beautiful city!

We booked this on a cold Sunday in November and it was lovely to look forward to through the winter—but the actual visit has surpassed our expectations!! As others have observed before me, you have created a miraculous of security and calm here in the Medina. As soon as one crosses the threshold and is welcomed by one of your wonderful staff, the chaos and cacophany of the souk is a distant memory…Elizabeth your sleek and sophisticated interpretation of Moroccan decor is worthy of a magazine cover, and yet every body was so comfy and relaxed, not an easy balance to strike!
Our Moroccan feast on arrrival was a visual and gastronomic treat which set the tome for the remainder of our stay.
Thanks so much for arranging for cars, tours, dinner reservations—and also for a personal guided tour of the souk. You are both the consumate hosts.
